Umbrella revolution in the eyes of Mainland (Lester Li)

The news article is from CHINA DAILY about the recent Umbrella Revolution in Hong Kong.
Although the text is written in English which is an international medium ,it is possibly targeting at Chinese audiences who are also able to read English because of  the content and advertisement.

For the advertisement, it is written in English but it states "looking for young Chinese voices". It focuses on Chinese readers who have good English literacy because when you click into this advertisement, you will access all the information in Chinese. Also as the above picture shown, we could see the Chinese words"反佔中" or "保普選" which are for Chinese audiences.

For the content, it is all about the perspective of HK government towards the revolution. It emphasized the points of pro-HK government only but never mentioning the points of  protesters.
(To assure credibility, I have searched all relevant news of "Umbrella revolution" and "Occupy central" in CHINA DAILY and the results are all similar as the above news which are pro-HK government.)

Base on the content of the news about "Umbrella revolution", it obviously purposed to promote one-sided value of government and avoid people to receive the comprehensive information of  the revolution.
