As a foreigner, feeling messed up by upper sentence s predictable. I will now recap in English.

Besides his quotations, the choice of using both Cantonese and English to report in press conference is worth discussing.

Using only Mandarin s the common habit of China Gov. We can assume this s an action of unifying, via language. Monoglot s not wht they aimed. Yet, using one's own mother-tongue could really be kinda defense of one's national self-esteem. (of coz necessary only when it s kinda low)

Let's see our adorable Mr. Hui. Languages switching may or may not be his own choice. However, one thg s sure - no matter how many times he recapped, 無論許sir再重申幾多次都好，he insisted not speaking Mandarin at all so far. 或者我再重申一次，許sir佢一直都堅持無用普通話。
