Hello everyone ! My full name is Cheng Ka Lok. You can call me Joe or Ka Lok. It's up to you ^ ^ . I'm now a year 2 BA student studying in the department of translation. So, why I love translation so much? The reason is simple -- I am interested in both Chinese and English ! In my spare time, I'm keen on reading a wide variety of books such as the romance and the literary novels. Hence, I want to explore more and learn more in the Translation Department at Lingnan. 

As for my family background, I have three sisters who are also older than me. We are as close as buddies and we always share our secrets with each other. Some may wonder why I can get along well with them. I think communication is probably the key to enhancing closeness in our relationship. Although there is a generation gap between us, we are willing to share our deep feelings freely and help each other while encountering difficulties. That's why we are just like good friends and rarely have conflicts.

大家好 ! 我的中文全名是鄭家樂，你們可以叫我"Joe"或者「家樂」^ ^ 我是翻譯系的二年級生。為什麼我這麼喜愛翻譯呢 ? 原因非常簡單--我對中英文都很有興趣，哈哈!! 我很喜歡在課餘時間閱讀各類型的書籍，尤其是浪漫和文學小說。所以，我想在嶺南的翻譯系裏探索一下，感受語言的魅力。

談到我的家庭背景，我有三位比我年長的姐姐。我們關係好得像摯友一樣，經常分享彼此的秘密。有些朋友會好奇，為何我能與姐姐相處得這麼融洽 ? 其實，溝通就是王道 ! 雖然我跟她們年紀相差頗多，但我們樂於分享自己的事，有困難時互相幫助。因此，我們甚少有磨擦，相處得跟好朋友一樣。

As I want to let you know more about me within a few minutes, I'm going to tell you twelve things about me in the following~

1. I'm a person who cannot live without music since it helps me go through the ups and downs in my daily life. Taiwanese and English songs are also my cup of tea. 

2. Going to libraries is one of my favorite pastimes because I love the peaceful atmosphere there.

3. My favorite color is purple. I think it's full of mystery. 

4. I love deserts, especially chocolate ice cream.

5. I pay much attention to my health so I eat fresh fruits every day.

6. I always watch and listen to the music videos posted on YouTube. 

7. I live in a housing estate located in Ma On Shan.

8. My lucky number is 7 and I born in the seventh of July. 

9. I'm a gentle but determined person. I won't give up when I want to achieve something. 

10. I love writing and I joined many writing competitions before. 

11. I'm obsessive about cleanliness. I must wash my hair while taking a shower every day.

12. I was an introverted student in secondary school. But now, I want to meet more new friends at Lingnan.

2. 到圖書館是我很喜歡的消閒活動，那兒的寧靜環境往往令我流連忘返。

5. 我十分注重健康，每天我都會吃新鮮的水果。

6. 我差不多每天都會到YouTube看看有甚麼新的音樂影片。

7. 我住在馬鞍山的其中一個屋村。

8. 我的幸運號碼是「7」，我的生日是7月7日。

9. 我是一個很溫和的人，但我的個性很堅定，只要訂下目標便不會放棄 !

10. 我很喜愛寫作，亦參加過很多寫作比賽。

11. 我有一點潔癖，每天洗澡的時候都一定會洗頭的~

12. 讀中學時我比較內向，而現在的我希望在嶺南大學認識多點新朋友，擴闊自己的社交圈子。
